I explored different styles on this page. The character design on the left is a Chinese rap artist. For this character, I used Photoshop brushes to express the traditional Chinese ink and wash painting style.
I like to use diverse tools to draw sketches, including pens, brushes, pencils and even twigs picked up in the grass. The observational drawings on this page were all drawn using bamboo twigs and ink.
